21st session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation

Bratislava, November 12, 2021 - The 21st session of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation (hereinafter – Commission) took place in Slovakia. It was co-chaired by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic Richard Sulik.

Rosstandart was represented by Maria Pishchulina, Head of Administration and External Relations Department, Chairman of the Russian part of the Russian-Slovak Working Group on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment.

During the meeting were discussed the relevant issues of Russian-Slovak cooperation in the field of energy, industry, standardization, metrology and conformity assessment, sports, education, as well as business cooperation.

Upon the meeting results the Parties signed a number of documents: protocol of the 21st meeting of the Commission,  Memorandum on cooperation in the field of sports between the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic and Memorandum of understanding between the Ural Federal University named after B.N. Eltsyn and the Slovak Technological University in Bratislava.

The next Commission session is scheduled for summer 2022.
